We were very pleased with the quality of this item for the price. It included quite a few hooks and securely holds the weight of nine stainless steel pots with their respective lids. It also looks great in the kitchen (it’s very shiny), but make sure the ceiling height is at least 8 feet high or you will be bumping into the hanging items even when the rack is positioned over a kitchen island as ours is. We would recommend this product.

Customer Review: Ugly little rack, but unbelievably useful!!
When I hung this potrack from my ceiling, I was in tears. It was the ugliest thing I had ever seen (looked like a flat spider hanging from the ceiling), but now covered with my pots, pans and baking equipment, it is a blessing. Definately the best value of the racks on Amazon. As of today, there are 14 medium to extra large items hanging from it and the rack itself is not showing any signs of stress. The only problem is that I can’t always find a spot for things I want to hang on it!! This rack does not come with enough hooks, so be sure to order extras, about any kind will fit. Once you get your pots up on the ugly little thing, it will make your kitchen look like a real chef lives there. I wish it had a lid rack, but for the money, I really have no complaints.

We have pendant lights that hang 42 ish inches apart over our big kitchen island, which made it tough for me to find a ceiling pot rack that would work…so I put it off. This one is perfect (the lights drop down within the ends of rack), and once you find your ceiling joists with a stud funder (important!) it’s easy to install. We’re very happy. It’s actually pretty light (key since our pots are heavy.)

I installed it in about an hour. Bought 4 screw-in eyelets and chain link connectors to attach to the ceiling joists at 4 points. It hangs above the island in our kitchen. We can hang all our heavy Calphalon pots/pans on it. I couldn’t exactly center it over the island due to where the joists were located, but it’s OK. I’m going to chance the old lighting above the island so this isn’t as noticable. I got this from CulteryAndMore because Amazon wouldn’t match their lower price.

Customer Review: Great game, especially for kids
When we first got this game, we blasted our way through every carnival game on the disc. Some were more fun than others, I like the only where you throw the ball at the clowns on a shelf the best. After a few times through each game, it tends to get a bit boring, and I don’t play it so much anymore. The kids still like playing the game though, and would play any chance they could in order to increase the “prizes” that they have earned. This would be a great party game though, given that the games are short, and there’s such a huge variety of games to pick from.

One thing that was frustrating to me was that I thought it only worked with one remote. Well, I didn’t see it until after a few games of passing the remote back and forth, but at the beginning, when you’re going head to head with someone, there’s a box you have to click which changes it so that each player has his/her own remote. Once I figured that out, the game was much more enjoyable.

Overall, a fun game for sporatic play, but definitely not something that you’ll be playing everyday.

This game is truly like being at a real Carnival. The only thing missing are the real stuffed animals. The skill it takes to play the games is amazing. I am using this game at my game party and I will have real stuffed animals, cotton candy, pop corn, ice cream, all the good stuff at a carnival. There are times when you need a baking sheet that you don’t have to worry about marring the non-stick coating while cutting (e.g pizza). This is an excellent heavy-duty sheet.

Customer Review: Pantastic
First a little background. I rarely review products, I’m a very good cook and I’ve cooked professionally in several restaurants. The analon grill pan is as good as it gets for stove top grilling. That being said it, like all the others it doesn’t give you anything close to an outdoor grilled flavor. However, if used properly, it gives you several advantages of grilling: cooking above the fat, grill marks, and a slight grilled flavor. Using the pan properly is key. I preheat the pan at a strong medium heat for 5 to 6 minutes, lightly coat the items I’m grilling with olive oil–rather than the pan, or a marinade/vinagrette, and deglaze the pan afterwards. I also fill the pan with water right after grilling and have had no trouble at all cleaning it later on. I’ve grilled chicken, beef, pork, frozen shrimp and vegetables. I flattened (pounded) the chicken and pork as I think quick grilling best for this sort of appliance, but that’s only speculation. Using a grill pan may make for healthier pan cooking. There’s concern now with the carcinogenic aspects of browning and carbonization in fat; since a grill pan lifts the food above the fat it causes less carbonization than does pan frying and therefore less carcinogens. So, as long as you’re not expecting true grilled flavor, you can’t go wrong with this pan.

I’ve always been impressed with the Anolon line and have been slowly adding to my set. This one has to be the best investment I’ve made. I’ve cooked burgers, picnic ribs w/BBQ sauce and shish kabobs and everything has had that “outside grilled” taste. Best of all is the clean-up - no sweat. Everything just wipes off.

I sprayed the pan well, and the cake came out easily. Since you can’t put frosting on the cake, we put it underneath, using white icing dyed blue for water like a moat. First icing on the cake plate, then the cake, then I started clumpping the icing around it with the idea I would smooth it out. But, it looked like waves crashing around the castle, so I left it like it was! I used the spray on blue decorating stuff to put more blue on, and used blue sugar crystals to give it some dimension, and I am not terrible artistic but it looked fantastic! I will use this pan many, many times and my local bakery even wants to take a look at it for some ideas. So worth the 20 bucks!

Super easy to clean and nothing sticks to this bad boy! This is one heck of a pan, nice and heavy. I cook a lot and this pan has gotten quite a work out. After a year there was some color change to the bottom, but it hasn’t hampered the cooking. I love my Analon set, in fact I love these pans better then my Calphalon sets! Customer Review: Lid is DANGEROUS!!!
I purchased this skillet so that I would get a more even distribution of heat for cooking larger amounts of food. Unfortunately this product can’t compare to my regular skillet - which is a 12″ Kitchen Aid - anodized aluminum pan. And does NOT provide as GOOD a heat distribution. I’m using it because I already purchased it - when it dies - that’s it for electric skillets. IF you only need to use this skillet for say frying eggs and bacon or perhaps fried chicken (things that don’t require you place a lid over them) it’s okay - but you are taking a very BIG risk of getting burned or dropping the lid when using it. On this particular model the handle - IF not tightened “just right” wabbles! Then - this is the WORST part - the handle gets so hot I almost dropped the lid the first time I picked it up. I now use a pot holder. I certainly would NOT recommed the purchase of this model to anyone - nor in all liklihood ANY of the retangular ones - the lid whether wabbly or not is cumbersom. It appears that very little thought went into the design and construction of the lid handle. The handle should NOT be round - nor a “KNOB” (like this one) - it should be a REAL handle which you can firmly grasp - and should be constructed so that one does not run the risk of burning themselves. Buy and use at your own risk - you’ve been warned!!!

Ones taste in books is highly subjective. This one was bad in my opinion. I really wanted to like it. It was boring and the plot never came together. It feels like it was written by a completely author than Wicked and Confessions.

Customer Review: Hypnotic
Mirror Mirror: A Novel, is as you dear reader probably already knew, a retelling of the wellknown fairytale Snow White in 16th century Italy.

The Good: The story is moderatly interesting, and it has some a few really great characters, namely Lucrezia and the seven dwarfs, as well as the old priest and the cook. Maguire’s prose is poetic and beautiful, and the dialogue is masterful- its both smart and sensitive, and tells so much about the story. And because the plot is so intriguing you’re pulled along-not so much in wanting to know what happens next, but needing to know what happens.

The Bad: This was undoubtly a very intersting book, yet sometimes it felt that Maguire was confined in his story of Snow White. There seemed to be so many things he wanted to do in his story, yet he couldn’t necessarily fit them in, or get them to make sense because as a fractured fairytale, his storytail had to have some sembelance to Snow White. Also, at times there were a bit too many unnecesarily descriptions- Maquire went on and on about certain things without getting to the root of the story. We know he can write well- now can we please get to the root of the story? Likewise, there was no fresh breath of newness or uniqueness in the character Bianca (or the Snow White). Though she was set up as a contrast to Lucrezia, she spent most of her time asleep- we never got to know or care for her. Personally, i think this was a result of all the conflicting plot threads the author had running through the story- this book would have been much better if the prose was more sparse, and if he said less with more words more often. This book definatly could have benefited with staying generally in the perspective of the dwarves and Lucrezia, as they were undoubtly the strongest characters in the book. Likewise, sometimes the symbolism in the story felt convoluted.

The UGLY: Actually, there wasn’t much of it. While some of the descriptions boarded on unneccesary, there was still a bit of vile, bitter beauty about them which actually added to the book’s charm. Of course, the prudish in all of us will be revolted with many of the incest undertones throughout the book, it did make the villian seem impossibly more human, and way more interesting.

We have a very small pantry and were looking for a pot rack. We first tried a half-round, but it didn’t hold much. So we returned it and ordered this one. It cost about twice as much but is well worth the price. It goes together easily–no tools, very simple construction. The hooks go in easily, it holds lots of pots and the lid storage is a great plus–no more digging through a drawer to find the right one. And it looks great. We have it hanging close to the wall, but it would look good over an island too. We plan on redoing out kitchen and will transition easily into the new space. This simple item is one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. Usually when you get an item, as long as it serves its purpose you feel satisfied. In this case I’m thrilled! Highly recommend it.
Customer Review: Hanging Pot & Lid Rack
I searched the internet for an attractive, inexpensive, utilitarian hanging rack for my pots/pans/lids. This particular rack fits the bill exactly, plus there’s room for a large metal bowl, a flour sifter, and 3 whisks! The design is so simple, and the rack is very easy to put together. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy the same rack again (but this one, which I’ve had for a couple of years, will last many years I’m sure).
