Customer Review: Pretty good, and DOES work with 3rd gen ipod nano
After testing this out for a week, I really like this alarm clock. Contrary to the misinformation given in another review, this is completely compatible with the 3rd gen ipod nano (video), and works well with it. The only thing that doesn’t work with it is the video out, which also doesn’t work with the classic, because you need Apple’s special cable for that. One thing that disappointed me is that once the alarm goes off, if you have selected buzzer, the ipod turns off. That is okay, but when you turn it back on, you reset the alarm. If you still want to keep hitting snooze, you have to live without music. One other annoyance I found is that the volume and search knobs don’t easily turn if you have slippery fingers. If they had bumps or something, it would be much easier. I like the fact that it has a radio, and that it comes with a remote. The remote would be better if it controlled using radio waves instead of IR signals, but I guess considering the amazing price you really can’t complain. Overall I was very satisfied with this product, and would recommend it to anyone with and ipod with a dock connector.
Customer Review: Good sound…bright light
The alarm clock is nice looking and has a great sound. My only complaint is the time display. It’s bright! In fact, too bright when sleeping. I have to turn it off making the numbers impossible to read in the dark. Not a big deal turning the light on and off if needed though. It was worth the good price.
