Cuisinart Chef’s Classic Nonstick Hard Anodized 12-Inch Round Grill Pan
Customer Review: Great Pan for Great Prince!
This is really a great grilll pan for the price. Though the grill marks don’t compare to grilling on the charcoal grill (I really love to grill), it does a nice job when pan is pre-heated before searing steak. I can use this pan to char the outside for great texture and still leave the middle of thick steak nice and rare using gas stove. 12″ is large enough that I can grill four smaller cuts of steaks or two porterhouse or T-bones and still have enough surface area to throw in cloves of garlc, cherry tomatoes and small potatoes. I would recommend this grill pan to anyone who enjoyes grilled foods, but don’t have time or access to an outdoor gas or charcoal grill.
Customer Review: Cooks food well
This pan is large, good quality, vegetables come nicely grilled, not mushy. On the downside grill marks are not prominent and do not use it with metal utensils despite what the box says! Its scratches easily…

Le Creuset 9-3/4-Inch by 9-3/4-Inch Square Roast/Bake Pan, Dune
Customer Review: Another versatile product from Le Creuset
Le Creuset; a mainstay of French chefs; manufactures porcelain vitreous enameled cast iron cooking vessels as well as stoneware, silicone, and other quality products. This square pan is cast from molten iron formed in sand moulds which are used only once. For this reason, one pan may look like another, but each is unique in its own way. As a highly efficient material, cast iron absorbs and distributes heat evenly. For this reason, it is recommended to use on low to medium heat. There are a few exceptions like boiling water where cooking on high heat is appropriate and okay. Otherwise, cooking with high temperatures may cause food to stick, discolor the enamel coating, or cook the food unevenly. Remove cast iron from the heat and it does not cool off quickly. This helps your food stay warm while serving. Beware; iron tends to be heavy so these cooking vessels tend to be heavier than the typical baking pan. Cast iron is an effective material for cooking so why cover it with enamel? Iron tends to rust; iron oxide (rust) doesn’t add any complimentary flavors to your food. If your cast iron cooking vessel was not enameled, you would have to season and maintain it. Adding the porcelain enamel not only looks good, but has multiple benefits. The enamel, being a solid coating, is one of the most hygienic surfaces to cook on, does not stain, absorb odors, retain flavors, and is easy to clean. The enamel can be damaged, so limit cooking tools to plastic or wood. Currently this pan is offered in four different colors; Flame, Cherry, Dune, and Cobalt. The benefits of cooking with Le Creuset cast iron are many, but lets get down to the roasting pan specifically. This pan holds 3 quarts of food, measures 9 3/4 x 9 3/4 x 2 inches internally, and weighs 7 pounds. 3 quarts will typically feed 4-6 people when it comes to casseroles, so consider your recipes when determining the size you need. If you need a larger pan, the rectangular roasters may be the better option. Except for roasts, the roasting pan tends to do best if at least 3/4 full. Any less and you may overwhelm your food with heat evenly dispersed in the pot. I find that the cast iron adds a crispy texture to food that may be desirable with a dish like mac-n-cheese, while not so desirable for other dishes. Some other possibilities for this pan include casseroles, deep dish pizza, pork chops covered with cornbread dressing, dinner rolls, baked squash, lasagna, scalloped potatoes, cobblers, pineapple upside down cake, or bread pudding. The possibilities almost seem endless to your imagination. One feature that people tend to complain about is the cost. The cost does seem steep compared to other pans made from other materials. Heck, cast iron doesn’t seem like it should be expensive when comparing to that old cast iron pan past generations have used for cornbread and camping. However the manufacturing process requires making a mould for each and every pan produced. They then go through the enameling process before shipping these heavy pans. If you take what goes into making and distributing these high quality cast iron products, the cost tends to make sense. Then consider that this pan will easily last a lifetime when taken care of. PROS: Extremely versatile Efficient absorption and distribution of heat Hygienic enamel cooking surface Does not stain, absorb odors, or retain flavors Easy to clean when not abused or misused Can be transferred from stove top to the oven to the table Can easily last a lifetime CONS: Its heavy, as cast iron tends to be weighing in at about 7 pounds.

Simply Calphalon Aluminum 8-Inch Omelet Pan
Naturally you want the heating advantages of anodized aluminum, and you want easy clean up, of course this cookware ahould be not only durable but also affordable. Calphalon’s newest offering, Simply Calphalon, makes all this possible. From sauteing mushrooms to frying a couple of eggs, the process is quick and easy from start to finish, in this pan.
Customer Review: Great Little Pan!
I have a calphalon wok and wanted something to fry a couple eggs or cook small amounts of something oh and yeah cook an omelet. This is a great little pan for quick small cooking jobs. Easy to clean and does heat up fast and at a high temperature. The Handle (of all things) is great too! Fits the hand good and makes it fun to use. Very good work on this. Handle with respect and it should last a long time.
Customer Review: awful
Why would anyone want pots that can’t be used on high heat, can’t be washed in the dishwasher or can’t be scoured for fear of removing their anodized finish. My Calphalon professional pots were very expensive and it makes me sick that they have preformed so poorly. I have noticed that many of the positive reviews were by people who haven’t owned these pots for long I am a real cook and use my pots several times a day, I need them to work, not just look good and this cookware is ridiculously tempermental. After leaving them on the heat too long, just once, they warp. Food sticks easily to them and they are very hard to clean because you can’t use steelwool or abrasive pads. After a guest put one in a dishwasher by mistake, the pot finish was ruined, and I had aluminum coming off on my food. I am someone who takes good care of my things, and it is impossible to clean these well without removing the finish. I had taken some comfort in the “lifetime” warantee, I tried to return them, but the warantee, like this cookware is absolutely useless!
