Customer Review: You can’t find anything better
No, they don’t come anymore with an indicator that the filter needs to be changed. I marked my calendar for 2 months and will check to see if the water flow has slowed considerably before then. In any case, these will fit the old-style upright PUR pitcher and are the Only filters PUR sells now, so what are you gonna do? These new ones need to be soaked in water first then flushed to remove loose charcoal. The water filtered through them is absolutley tasteless. PURfect. Given no options, I will keep reordering these.

Been using these for years now; I filter local raw spring water through them, and they work just fine. Still alive to write a review, so they must work, right? That said, probably you should just use them to filter tap water. Buy them!!

I previously had a universal lid with a clear removable center which would fall out all the time. I bought this lid a month ago, and it is superb. It is all one piece, so I no longer have to worry about it falling apart! It’s great for 12″ and 10″ frying pans.
Customer Review: A piece of junk would’ve been better..
I’ve got this about 3 months ago and already now when I put water on its inside face, the water becomes black and gooey. This gives an idea on what drops on your boiling food when using this piece of junk. It’s going to garbage.

Customer Review: Caphalon Nonstick 13″ Round Grill
Overall it is a great pan for just about anything you can cook. However, I wish it had a spout on one side when cooking bacon or any other food that has grease you may want to drain off. When you tip the pan to drain it, you have to turn it to a vertical position which may cause your food to fall off. It has excellent heat conducting properties and can be used to broil in your oven too. Remember to use lower heat settings than standard pots and pans.
Customer Review: Excellent grill pan
I bought this after watching an episode of America’s Test Kitchen on TV on which this pan was deemed the best of its type in an unbiased comparison. The show is put on by Chris Kimball of Cook’s Illustrated. The pan is lighter in weight than iron grill pans and has a nice large cooking surface that makes meats and fish look like they do in food ads with nice dark lines from the raised ribs. Makes food visually very appealing.
